It is truly the most optimistic and encouraging place I

Make a difference
One of the most common themes among our volunteers last year
was the feeling that through giving, they received even more in return
a sense of compassion, of hope and of gratitude for the blessings in
their own lives.
We invite you to spend some time playing with our young kids in our child
development classrooms, tutoring children, feeding the homeless, helping
in our resale shop or planning a fundraiser at St. Vincent de Paul
Center! For information on lending a helping hand, contact Molly Savage,
Community Relations Coordinator (312) 943-6776 ext. 2220 msavage@svdpc.org

Greater Chicago
Food Depository
Help the Greater Chicago Food Depository, St. Vincent de
Paul Center and Marillac Social Center feed the poor!
For every hour volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food
Depository sorting and organizing food, $5 will be donated to feed the
children of low-income families, the homeless and at-risk seniors served
by St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac Social
Center.
For anyone interested in making a difference from their own
home, the Food Depository needs individuals to hand-write letters to
their donors. All materials will be provided for the volunteers.
Each hour spent helping the Greater Chicago Food Depository
will relieve food costs for both Marillac
Social Center
and St. Vincents.
To find out more about this great opportunity to help, contact Molly
Savage at (312) 943-6776 ext. 2220.
