Santa Mike Fund

Santa Mike’s 41st Year! 

In the winter of 1970, Mike Sturch, lovingly known as “Santa Mike,” began a tradition to help St. Vincent de Paul Center families have a better holiday season. For the past 41 years, “Santa Mike” has been providing over 440 children of low-income working families a special gift from Santa, as well as a special holiday meal for over 250 isolated seniors.

Thanks to the help from generous donations to the Santa Mike Fund, Mike, his family and faithful volunteers have been able to provide holiday gifts for thousands of children in need, countless dinners for low income seniors, sponsored staff appreciation dinners and a Thanksgiving meal for hundreds of homeless men and women.
