Volunteer Spotlight
Lenore Haske and Mary Quinn
Longtime volunteers Lenore Haske and Mary Quinn retired from their time at the Nearly New Thrift Store this August after a combined 37 years volunteering. Both women worked behind the scenes: sorting, organizing and filling the shelves with donated items.
“I always looked forward to coming to the Shop,” said Lenore. “I also enjoyed working with the people at the Center.” Mary said she was brought here by a friend to come volunteer at the Shop. "Sister Jose Forsyth inspired me to come to Nearly New after I retired.” She also enjoyed meeting new people at the Shop.
St. Vincent’s is grateful for the time both women put in over the past three decades and hope they continue to visit the store and shop!
