Former broker wouldn’t dare trade this gig

You hear lots of heartwarming examples of generosity this time of year, but not many to match the story of Santa Mike.

For 40 years now, Santa Mike has thrown a holiday party for the needy children served by the St. Vincent de Paul Center, a social service agency that operates one of the city’s oldest child care programs from its facility at Halsted and Webster.
